Poetry Narrative I am so scared!
 

I am so scared!

I am so scared;

Of work ahead as hands turn into silt

Challenger goes deep & nearly vertical reach

And steals away abyssal recovery recall plan

How will I hold up here until the rain bumps?

Speed lights skidding abed a lying night

Supine brain stem sand maps manganese fields

The echo of life map the breath routine

Susceptible gait into a blue technology

Swirl spot kin speak so utterly distressed

Loveliness spiral brotherly I came down

 

  An infant pigtail macaque compares

  Two mother surrogates: One covered

  in cloth, the other is a bare wire cage

 

Soundless wreckage of the living cut gay

twins conjoined at the atlas prejudicial

Seamounts mouthed in retrospect …....
