I'm caught in a trap
Unable to escape
So alone in my despair
My self esteem battered

His love was just a lie
Nothing to take back
When the mask fell off
Just a convenience I was

Pretending that all is well
Not letting on that it's not
Waiting for time to pass
So the healing can start

Annie, this is something we all go through in dating periods of our life...Just hang on to YOU and let go of someone who does not want you back...lol and God bless..Kathie
