Poetry Other Persist this Strength?

Persist this Strength? Hot

This flawless strength persist forevermore,

To hold you as my friend and deeper still;

My feelings stray across an unmarked door.

When you are near there is no need implore

For a purport beyond what is of will;

This flawless strength persist forevermore.

In your eyes I'm permit to be thy core–

Thyself, and not unjustly lost until

My feelings stray across an unmarked door.

Although always I turn to our rapport,

Wariness my caution does instill.

May flawless strength persist forevermore.

Away you are a distance—shore to shore,

And thoughts of you must your presence fulfill.

My feelings stray across an unmarked door.

Alas with time we shall be duly tore

Away through new journeys of seeking skill.

Persist this flawless strength forevermore?

My feelings stray across an unmarked door.
